Nextcloud/NAS/Backup NAS
I am looking for input on the best way to accomplish this.
I have a FreeNAS box that I am using as my "main" file server and a Plex media server. I have a low-power J1900 Debian box that I am using for a Nextcloud Server (in a virtualbox) and to backup my FreeNAS share.
I want to be able to use Nextcloud as a web-based GUI for my CIFS/FrreeNAS share, or at least the files on such.
As of right now, I just have "External Storage" enabled on NC, which allows me to browse the files on the FreeNAS box, and the FreeNAS CIFS share is backed up to the Debian box.
Is this the best way to accomplish this? An issue I forsee is that every few months, for a reason nobody has been able to figure out, my FreeNAS box requires a reboot. This would mean NC would be useless to me until I rebooted the FreeNAS box.
