does slackwares frewall come configured

I posted this question is a different forum, but thought this would be a more appropriate place

If I did a full install of slackware 9.1, am I protected using my broadband connection? I mean is it minnimaly protecting me. They say that you have to configure everything, does that mean I have no fire wall as of now?

Slackware has no default firewall. You're gonna want to put one together pronto. Iptables is installed by default, so you can either write your own script or start with a graphical front end like Firestarter
