New LQ Bug Tracker
As you know, we consider feedback absolutely critical at LQ. In order to facilitate more community involvement in the direction of LQ, I'm happy to announce the LQ Project Tools and Bug Tracker. This will completely replace the previous LQ Bug Tracker and will allow for much more flexibility. If you find any bugs or have a feature request, please let us know. We really are listening. Thanks!
Aloha,
I find the layout of Linux Questions to be pretty much dead on and easy to navigate. When I come to the homepage it already has a line for new posts. Very Cool! When in the forums the Quick Links make it easy to fine new posts and my subscribed threads. What I would like to see is one addition to the Quick Links menu. A /new posts with zero replies/ option. When I come the Forums I look at those 3 things. I do realize that there is a an option to show zero reply threads. But if was limited to just new posts, it would make scanning the post quicker for me.
Thank you Jeremy for a wonderful site. I am learning just by reading through new posts and trying to help. The post of LXer articles is really awesome. Is it possible to request another one? I like Linux Today a lot. Would be very cool if that one was posting as well.
Mahalo,
Edward

The quick links already contain a Zero Reply Threads link. We may consider additional syndicated news sources in the future, although we'd want to eliminate the duplicates in some way I think. Thanks for the feedback.

At times, a new user when posting a new thread gets lost in the forums. Please put the new thread button somewhere visible so that it can be accessed quickly.
Also, I would suggest changing the quote button to Reply (just a suggestion) button as I think there is no need to reply with a quote. It just increases the size unnecessarily.

Hopefully the New Thread button is in a place where most members see it. There is also an entry in the FAQ which includes a picture. As for the quote button, quite a few people use it. Thanks for the feedback.
I & (possibly 'telnet' fans) are FED UP of discussions on telnet ending up with spams of SSH. It is like 24 out of 25 posts are that SSH is secure, telnet is cleartext, and blah blah.
For tux's sake, please do something about it.
Maybe a sticky "Before posting Telnet Topics" will be of great help, to warn innocent people to use SSH.
Kindly consider this plea.

I'm not sure what this has to do with the "New LQ Bug Tracker" (the topic of this thread), but you really should not be using telnetd. Of course, telnet the client has many legitimate uses.
