I have just joined the forum and came to know the sad news.
Its a great loss for all of us.may GOD blesses his soul and give patience and peace to his family.
The computer has great potential. We can see it all too often, and struggle for its expression. Perhaps it would be in a wiser state of mind to drop the tool for a moment and absorb the vision it has brought even as a child's mind. For we are seeing God (our source of being) as through a smoked glass. 'Though shalt not kill.' (Perhaps more clearly 'You cannot kill.' Only the measure of an expression changes relative to the rest as wee see it.) Born into the world's oppressive states of expression. We see poorly the One who sustains us all. Yet that [oppresor / oppression / Satan] ruling it will not prevail. May we look again to our real Source and give back what we can, in that pure nature. In God all things are possible. Get in to it?/God. One lives eternal, that's reality.
I never got a chance to meet David. I'm brand new to the community; but this news touched me as I read it. It's always sad to hear of things like this. My heart goes out to David's family and friends today. I said a prayer for all of them. I am sure he will be missed by those that knew him well. His short life which modeled selfless acts of kindness and brotherly love, reminds me of the old saying that only the good die young. Rest in Peace David. God be with his family and friends in this hour of grief.
I want to know if somebody actually knew him personally
Now a days, a man in his late 30's, that's a young departure
I want to express my condolences towards everyone at linux questions, may he rest in peace
It would be nice if we can read a few things about david, maybe a few pictures, and stories, what he liked, how he was, was he happy, extravagant, serious... so that we can learn something from his story
You know, technical aspects, those are great, but what make a person is not his knowledge. I want to learn from him. Was he happy, social, funny, can somebody tell us his philosophy, what he thought about life?
my condolences to mc9. i been on this site for about three years havent post much but the info that he or other mods have help me termendously in the past and he will be solely missed.
