Happy Birthday, belatedly!

Been here in many guises, many names (so many! Forgotten, and lost! memory fails me!) Well, I am 60, and happy to see some large growth in this board! There are maybe 300 million users, and the cream of the crop are obviously here for the party!

Congratulations!

Jeremy, you'll probably never know how many people you and LQ have helped in making the move from the prison of Windows to the freedom of Linux.

No matter how stupid my question, I've received help from people who care.

Google is my friend, but LQ is my bestest friend!

Happy birthday (or, as we say in Irish, Breithlá shona).

Happy Birthday

I'd like to thank you for starting this site, it has been a tremendous help on my linux journey(3.5 years). I now run Ubuntu Feisty and Simply Mepis 6, plus VirtualBox on the Ubuntu machine with XP Pro guest.
Thankyou and many happy returns!
Bob

I remember when this site first started. I was just learning Red Hat Linux 8.

I had a different login name then but now I have this one: Israfel2000.

Either way, this site has helped me a whole bunch. I also helped a few others along the way.

Happy Birthday LQ. Congratulations Jeremy and mods. Keep up the great work.

As a newbie to Linux and this group, I offer my best wishes and congratulations on your birthday. I am really grateful and impressed by the helpfulness and knowledge of the members - - you have created a great site, Jeremy, and must have stored up some serious good karma in so doing. All the best,
