Amazing!!! 18 years. I can't believe it. Keep up the great work!
Pros: It seems that even with obscure things, there's normally someone who will provide an answer or at least point you in the right direction.
Cons: Still a bit of arrogance in the posts at times. Pride is a very ugly trait.
It would be good to also teach more. Don't just say "do this" and end the post. Explain how and why something is done. This way we can keep growing. If the person you're helping doesn't really care, that's okay, someone else coming up later might find it very useful.

As a new user, i absolutely agree. i already know how to fish, but i need to know why the
fish are not biting, where they are hiding, what other bait might i be using. If i'm going
to tangle with an OS, then i need to know how it thinks. It follows rules of logic and reason and so do i. To just tell folks to type in this command and it s-h-o-u-l-d work. But what if it
doesn't work? What is that cmd attempting to do? You got the idea.
I'll do my best to at least describe the problem and issues involved in a clear and concise way.
Thank you all for providing a platform which might help me to stay out of a rubber room.
I hear that the food is not to good either.
