Ok, I'll give it a try; what should I look for as an advantage over Safari?
Edit : ok, downloaded, logged in, but can't actually view posts:
Got an error "there appears to be a connection issue between your device and LQ mobile."

I can confirm that some posts are currently throwing this error. I think I've narrowed down the issue and I've opened a ticket with the appropriate vendor.

As you can see in the App Store, it's currently an "iPhone App" and the layout on the iPad will reflect that. A future version will bring improved iPad support.

Is the language on your phone set to French? The app defaults to English.
Sadly, it would seem that this app isn't working whatsoever. When I launch it, I can sign in and authenticate. But I can't change any of the tabs, I can't select the Subscribed tab, for example. And when I click on a topic, I get the following error: "There seems to be a connection error between LQ Mobile and your device". I'm on an iPod touch fifth generation.
