netflix streaming

I'm new. This is my second post.
I installed Ubuntu 10.10 and am trying to get the hang on things. Having a hard time with the language. Anyway I'm trying to do everything with Ubuntu and found that Netflix streaming does not work. All the threads I found were old, so, is there a work around this?

Thanks for the help.

Netflix does not support Linux. You'll need Windows or Mac OS (either as a dual boot or running in a virtual machine) to watch Netflix Streaming. I've observed that a lot of Linux users on the forums purchase an inexpensive device such as the Roku for their Netflix needs.

Netflix does not support Linux. It relies on SilverLight, a proprietary technology developed by Micro$oft. The website will offer a Linux plugin called Moonlight, but it's a sham, doesn't really function at all.

You can stream from some other supported device. See playon linux I believe.

So far no one either cares or can get silverlight to work on linux (well, yes on boxee box but that hasn't been hacked either)
