linux kernel configurator tool points to /usr/src/linux-2.4/arch//config.in (BUG?)

when i start the configurator i get this message

Sorry

The kernel configuration could not be read due to the following error:

cannot open /usr/src/linux-2.4/arch//config.in for readingEither your kernel sources contain invalid configuration rules or you just found a bug in the KDE Kernel Configurator.

does anyone know how to fix this?

I am using Mandrake and I also had that problem. I installed the rpm with the source and it worked. Which kernel are you trying to install, maybe 2.6 doesn't have that file, coz the rpm I installe was 2.4 and the one that didn't work was 2.6.
