Question Change Screen Resolution?


Im using SuSE 8.2. How do I change the screen resolution to 800x600. Right now its at 1027x? and its hard to read anything because its so small.

Got it thanks. I was just having trouble keeping it. I would restart and it would refer to the old settings. Now it works fine.

One thing you might consider is a utility that is available with version 4.3 of XFree86 xrandr. More information can be found here. This utility allows you to change the resolution without restarting X. Just be careful that you don't change to a resolution that your monitor/video card will not support.
