trying to set samba to only allow access to one client at any given time
After much pain and time spent I have samba working on my slackware server which is connected to an xp pro client.
This is only a test environment, as once the server is deployed it will be a fileserver for 9 xp clients. I am supposed to get samba configured so that only one client can access at a time, and all other users are locked out until that client 'releases' the server.
I have been reading the o'reilly samba book, but it doesnt look like I will be able to read the book/get it all set up before my deadline,... so can someone point me to 'lighter' documentation or possibly tell me what to do in this situation?
thanks
