NFS "permission denied"

Ok I am getting a NFS permission denied error when trying to mount a directory onto a client. I have the correct hostname listed in the /etc/exports. Whats weird is on a different client, I can mount the directory just fine, but then one my other client I get the permission denied error. The /etc/exports contains the hostnames of the clients, which were done by doing a nslook up on the clients from the server!

Any ideas would be appreciated!

why not prove that that's what exports says, by showing it to us... also it'd help to see your ifconfig output for successful and failing machiens and the server.

Fixed it, the client wasn't running portmap....even though I was pretty sure it was!
