I am confused with the hardware terminology involved in storage on a Android phone. I am not sure I will be using the correct terminology in this post.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S10+ with 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. I did not add any removable SD card to the smartphone.
I checked the smartphone and the hardware used to hold the 128GB of storage does not appear to be a SD card. The smartphone indicated there is no SD card;

It appears I can easily encrypt a removable SD card. But, how do I encrypt the 128GB of internal storage?
What do I call the 128GB of storage? Is it a solid state drive? Is it simply referred to as internal storage? Is it an embedded SD card? I haven't even added a removable SD card.
I would like to encrypt the Android smartphone. But, the only option I can find is to encrypt a removable SD card.
How would I encrypt the hardware storing the 128GB of data?
What is the hardware used to hold the 128GB of storage?
