I got a Nokia XR20 which is running on Android 13, it got a timeout setting for hotspot, where on the T21 tablet running on Android 12 has no such setting, only a preset of around 1min. to turn off hotspot when no connection. I don't know if this is default for Android 12 or just Nokia ? I want a user settable hotspot timeout, so that when I briefly go out of range and return I still get connected, any comment ?
I have an LG Stylo 5 and I have occasionally used the hotspot setting, sometimes for several hours.
There is no timeout setting that I can find or have ever encountered in usage.
I used my tablet hotspot coz my phone using different carrier has bad reception at my location, and I damaged 2 phones due to heavy hotspot use, so I will avoid that unless have no better choice.
