Thinkpad 560x Display


I am running or trying to run Damn Small from a usb thumb drive botting with a floppy eventually I intend to install to hard Drive but after boot the screen is green and yellow and pretty much unreadable any help I had the same issue with puppy as well . Help ???

Similar problem with a ThinkPad 600E.

If I remember right, I went back to Windows98 and clicked Start>Control Panel>Display, switched from 24-bit to 16-bit color and rebooted in Puppy. After that, Puppy looked fine and was able to run in any color mode. There must be a more direct method, but I'm very new to this and just guessing at everything.
