The suspend option on my Acer V3-574G laptop is not working on KDE neon. Whenever I click shut down, it just logs me out and the whole computer is awake with the lock screen showing. But, one thing I noticed is that, then after I log back in, no commands run in the terminal, the wifi also doesn't seem to work and there are many other problems that arrived due to suspend. Thus, I have to restart the computer to make my laptop fully working again. Suspend problems was there on my laptop on Ubuntu too, that's one of the reasons I shifted to KDE. In ubuntu, after suspend, screen used to go blank but all the fans and indicator lights stayed on. I had to hard reset to make my laptop work again. I am trying to solve the problem for a long time. Kindly help.
Hey, we probably have the same problem (acer laptop,but not the same model) , could you please give the output of the following commands
* uname -r
* journalctl | grep -i suspend (just the last time you did tried to suspend the machine)
Problem solved by downgrading linux firmware to 1.157

I have attached the screenshots for your reference. I seem to have solved the problem. At first, I identified the problem as my network card was stopping my laptop to suspend. Thus, when I turned off wifi and Bluetooth, then tried to suspend it, it worked perfectly. I searched the net all over for solution. At last, I settled with downgrading the Linux firmware to 1.157 and the suspend is working properly now for me the link of which I am attaching below. https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/xenial/...firmware/1.157

But, I am having a problem which I just now noticed. While after resuming from suspend, the wifi works correctly. I don't know why the Bluetooth disconnects and shows no adapters found. Any help would be appreciated. Here are the rest of the screenshots in continuation. It is a long list.
