Slackware 12.2 on Aspire One AOA150-1029?

Hey all. My Aspire One is being shipped soon, and I was just curious if anyone's been able to load Slackware 12.2 on the little guy. I have access to a USB DVD drive, and if necessary, could network one from a tower over to try and boot it from there or use a thumbstick. Would this be possible through its BIOS? What sort of experiences have you guys had with loading your favorite distro onto it?

Yes, you should be able to boot from the USB DVD drive or thumb drive by changing settings in the BIOS. I'm not sure how well slack will install but using the dvd drive, it should install like normal.

Also you may want to check out the Debian Acer One wiki for some good docs on installing to a netbook...
