Unhappy notebook keypad not working after installing RHEL 5.2


i have just installed RHEL 5.2 on my HP 520 notebook.. it was installed perfectly fine, but after installation when notebook was rebooted, keypad stopped working.. to make the matters even more worst, i have a power-on password on the notebook, so because of keypad not working, i cant move forward as i cant enter my password:S
i am completely stuck with nowhere to go.
kindly help!!

if I was you I would re-install and when you choose your keybord test it. then keep installing. no other way but to reinstall.

how can i re-install it when i cant get the power-on password phase.. control is transferred to the hard disk/peripherals after you get through BIOS routines
