RHEL 4 does not support SATA, and I don't know if the link knudfl supplied is a solution.
Isn't there are version of Oracle that runs on the current version of RHEL?
Yes, there is. Even 9i CAN be installed on RHEL5.
rhaul06, since you're using both Oracle and RedHat Enterprise, you are in a supported configuration. That is, you're paying for support from BOTH companies. RHEL4 will not support SATA drives, so load RHEL5. That will get your system up and running. After that, read the Oracle knowledebase TID on getting 9i running on RHEL5. You can call both Oracle and RedHat if you have problems.
Two other things: If you want to come and ask for drivers, it would help if you told us WHAT drivers you need, for what exact hardware. Also, if you're not paying for support from Oracle and RedHat...don't load either. Load CentOS (RedHat enterprise, but community supported), so you can get updates, and use MySQL or Postgres.
