modprobe error while configuring ndiswrapper

Hi all.

I want to configure a Intel PRO Wireless LAN 2100 card on my laptop and I have found some problems that I can't solve. Could you please help me?

After downloading and executing ndiswrapper, I strictly follow the instructions on the INSTALL file:

Code:
[root@privadas ndiswrapper-0.8]# ndiswrapper -l
Installed ndis drivers:
w70n51 present
But when I try to load the ndiswrapper module into the kernel I get this error messsage:

Code:
[root@privadas ndiswrapper-0.8]# modprobe ndiswrapper
FATAL: Error inserting ndiswrapper (/lib/modules/2.6.3-4mdk/misc/ndiswrapper.ko): Invalid module format
I am using Mandrake Linux v10.0 with kernel 2.6.3-4.

What's going on?

Thanks in advance.

I have had this problem under mandrake 10 as well. try doing a make install of the program again. If that doesn't work uninstall and the reinstall it (make remove) i think.

Hi again and thank you for your answer.

I have reinstalled ndiswrapper but the error still persists. The problem is that I can't load the ndiswrapper module into the kernel. Any suggestion?

Thanks.

Try deleting the source folder you are using and untarring the original archive again.
