Linux on HP iPAQ 1700 series

Subject says it all pretty much. I want to put linux on my hp iPAQ 1700 series pocket pc. Ive looked at some sites and most of them left me clueless and some of them didnt seem to work. So if anyone would like to help me figure out how to get the accomplished, it would be sweet. While we are on the subject, can u dual boot it like a normal computer to were u can go back to windows if u need be, dont know why, but incase u need be? yeah so if i could dual boot my PDA it would probably be the coolest thing i have ever done. Plus, im like the only guy i know with one, and that if i get to put Linux on there, I can have some more stuff to show off. Anyways, if i could get any help, that would be execellent. Cuz i need all the help i can get. Thanks.

Hi,

I'd suggest you join #ipaq or #handhelds.org on irc.handhelds.org
and ask the same question (and then wait patiently).

Dual booting is possible (in a fashion) on many handhelds by using a wince executable called haret.
True dual-booting should be possible when LAB (linux as bootloader) is complete.
