Keyboard Doesnt work on Slack10.1 installation

Hi, ok my build in keyboard doesnt work when i go to install slackware10.1... If i use a USB one, then that one will work. Now the build in one doesnt work during the install or when the computer first boots up... I have to use the usb one, untill i get into x.
what do i have to do so i can always use my build in one (I dont want to carry my external keyboard every where i go just to login.)

Thank you
