Install ethernet card BCM5705 on HP laptop nx5000 with Fedora core 2

Hi,

I just got a new HP Compaq business notebook nx5000 which comes with an integrated BCM5705M broadcom gigabit ethernet card. I just installed Fedora core 2. Then I downloaded the driver for the ethernet card from broadcom site (bcm5700-5.0.5.tar.gz) that seems to be for generic linux distributions. I try to install both the tar ball and the rpm and I do not suceed in installing the module. The module compiles successfully but when doing insmod bcm5700 I get an error:

/lib/modules/*/kernel/drivers/net/bcm5700.o: init_module: No such device

Any idea?

Thanks!
