HELP!! KDE Neon Crash on Login - KDE Wallet Manager Error?
***Note that this issue has been FIXED in the third post of this thread***
Hi everyone,
Help!! I can't access my system properly after updating and upgrading. I can only do it using IceWM. When I try to log in with X11 (which is what I usually use), it prompts me for my KDE wallet password (which is the same as the login password) and when I enter the password it crashes. Wayland doesn't prompt me for a wallet password, but it crashes. I need my system!!! I'm on a different laptop at the moment.
I just updated and upgraded my system to:
KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.89.0
Qt Version: 5.15.3
Kernel Version: 5.13.0-28-generic (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
Only thing I can think of is to further update the system using IceWM, but I have no Internet access and the process for setting it up looks very complicated.

X11 is no longer prompting for the KDE Wallet password. I used IceWM to open KDE Wallet Manager and set it to no password. However, the system is still crashing on login for X11 and Wayland. I think I need to configure wireless networking in IceWM and apply updates, but I've tried it and it isn't working. Is there any way to download the update on a separate machine and apply them locally, without Internet access?

The wallet is into the system. once inside, you cannot remove wallet.
You can install your base and add your desktop afterwards.
Very often, Linux today needs internet most of the time.
You have still slackware DVD to save your Linux desktop. Slackware is the very best of Linux. You can still install Offline as well. Slackware is definitely very recommended. https://mirrors.slackware.com/slackw...nstall-dvd.iso
In case nothing works... Still, you may try to join BSD, download an image, and install offline. It works, it is BSD. https://nomadbsd.org/download.html

Thanks. I actually got it to work above. Your info could be useful at a later date. Cheers.
