You may be able to use the XP boot manager (or whatever it's called) to boot Redhat 9. To do so, you'll need to boot into Redhat using your install disk (type
linux rescue after the boot) then use the instructions found at
http://www.geocities.com/epark/linux...w2k-HOWTO.html.
What this will entail is to make a copy of your /boot partition to a file (i.e.
dd if=/dev/hda2 of=/mnt/floppy/linux.bin bs=512 count=1) and copying this to the XP side for access. If you don't have a floppy, you'll either need to mount the Windows C:\ drive (not an option is NTFS) or FTP the file somewhere.
Also, your /boot partition may be too far down the drive if you elected for a large XP partition. If that's the case you may need to use a partition utility to resize everything first.
Hope this helps.
