devfs=nomount causes cdrom permission denied

Hi everyone.
This is my first post. I started using Linux two weeks ago and I'm studing it a lot for an embedded box for wireless communication for a project of e-government in Mali with engineering without frontiers.
I had to program a flash card, I got every working but shutting down devfs in the lilo.conf. (my file is at the end of the post) otherwise with Mandrake 9.1 the pcmcia drivers stucks in a loop while loading the compact lash card. This problem has been documented and I overcame this...

But the problem is that when I boot my system without devfs I have my cdrom not working, actually I can't open it. So I read a lot of stuff on the net but I didn't find anything more than configuring my user for the group cdrom that's created in Mandrake. I did... so I'm in the group of guys that can access and do whatever with the cd but the device is not working... so it's very bad for me programming without music!!!
And also my wave and mp3 aren't audible because of a terrible clicking noise ... well I have finished all my tries so I'll very appreciate some help...

Thank you
Fil
