black screen while installing rdhat centos on acer 5738

Hello friends...........please help me.............

Whenever i tried to install linux like redhat9 , ubuntu10.0, centos5.5asterisk now......

first it asks for me in which mode you want to install......when i press enter for guio.then anaconda starts .....and after 20 sec approx ascreen changes in to black.and i am not able to install it......

whether it is a hardware problem or any other..............i tried it in both ahci and ide mode

have you tried NOT pressing enter for a gui??

Hi,

My suggestion is to try to boot from a LiveCD/DVD first.

I have tried all but nothing happens......................same thing going on ................plz help me............
