Attention : Dell Latitude LM users

Anyone have luck running linux on the old Dell Latitude LM 133 - 166Mhz laptops?

I've tried the net... and i've checked-out linuxonlaptops archive and i'm really not making much progress.

Foremost are problems with configuring X... I can find little to no information on the proper hor and vert monitor settings. X seems to have support for the NeoMagic NM2070 and the kernel recognizes it, but right now all i'm getting is a black screen and total lock-up.

Anyone care to post a XF86Config file?

unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately), it's not as easy as popping in cd's and running installs. I'm using slackware which assumes very little about the system.

I'll try the generic settings fo XFree86 monitor configuration and see what happens, though.
