AMD xorg.conf for Linux Mint 21

Hello.

I've added Fluxbox to an install of Mint 21 Cinnamon Edition, on a new Lenovo Ideapad. It has AMD chips. I've been ignoring screen tearing but am wondering if the procedure's the same these days for putting that right, with a xorg.conf file. The one I found online stopped the desktop from starting.

It's been so long since I've tinkered that I can't remember where to start. Let me know what file you need to see to be of assistance or what command I need to type etc. lspci is referring to Radeon Vega if that's a start.

Thanks.

Welcome to LinuxQuestions.org. Assuming inxi installed run the following command and report back with the output...
Code:
inxi -SMGa
That will tell us more about your system, including the graphics chipset and driver details.

This may be of value to you...
