R_Hellvis LQ Newbie Registered: Jul 2003 Distribution: Slackware 11. Ubuntu 7.04 Posts: 6 Rep:	RedHat9 HW RAID1 I'm trying to get RH9 working with a promise fasttrack TX raid card. The problem is that after I've created my array and start the RH installation the installation sees "thru" my raid controller and list my drives as two separate ones instead of the array. The manual tells me to write "linux ide0=0x1f0,0x3f6,14 ide1=0x170,0x376,15 ide2=0 ide3=0 ide4=0 ide5=0 ide6=0 ide7=0 ide8=0 ide9=0 expert" at the installation promt. It actually makes the installation identify the array correctly as one drive but at the same time I loose access to my CDROM. Kinda hard to continue the installation
