Question Howto find SCSI info while server is online


Hi All,

Is thier a way for me to find out the details of the server SCSI drive while the server is online? I wanted to find the info like size, model, part number and serial number.

Use sdparm. For example:

sdparm -i /dev/sda

The 'man sdparm' command will get you the documentation.
