Software is pre-installed in MX Linux but I add Astrill VPN, ClamTK since it's the only Anti-Virus program that actually runs on MX Linux, add Adblock, enable advert block, and enable the Gufw. Then add themes.

I came back from the 'Dark Side' 10years ago, but no matter the system I load the browsers and productivity tools (Spreadsheet/WP/Presentation Package).
If I have to administer it, I would put some security system on it first.
I install Chromium, Thunderbird, and OpenOffice. Yeah, Libre Office installs with Ubuntu, but its interface sucks. For those unfamiliar with Chromium, it is what Chrome was before Google loaded it up with spyware, and Firefox now is no better. Once I install Adblocker Plus to Chromium, I have what I have found to be the quickest loading and fastest browser with a limited speed Internet provider.
