Speak through Microphone and hear yourself from speakers on d fly

Can I configure the linux box as a Karaoke system? In windows it's done by default - i.e. when you plug in the mic and speak to it, you hear yourself from the speakers on d fly. I haven't managed to do it on Linux. I'm using the i810_audio module.

I really need this working since i'm a guitar player and normally i use the soundcard to plug my guitar in it to play songs, and i really hate to go to windows to do it each time!

check your mixer settings and make sure that the mic input is not muted. Have it working fine here for me.

hah... the volume must be set to 100% to be heard! it's really cool now i'm a real autonomous linuxer.
