setting default page size and default tray

Hey all,

I have setup cups on RH9 running samba 2.2.7 printing to a Xerox Phaser 4400N from mostly windows XP client boxes. The problem I have is page mismatch errors which stop the print queue. Is there anyway to force A4 printing only, despite what the client machine specifies? I also want to restrict what tray users can print from. I have tried to edit the PPD file on the windows client but once I have done this the driver no longer will install on windows XP. I haven't tried to edit the PPD on the linux print server is this what I should do?

Thanks
Bill
