just a question: why? Even if you can boot it you will not be able to do anything with it. But anyway, if you wish you can try antix or any other suggestions.

DEBIAN is available in 64-bit and 32-bit (i386) images. You can download and run the live image, and (once verified) install from that.

There are others that still support 32-bit that are current, but some applications (and the newest kernels) are only available in 64-bit. that is not really a problem. Yet.

I could. Many of the others here could. We might not use it for a desktop machine, but as a small server with no GUI it might do quite well. What you can Do with it largely depends upon your imagination, knowledge, motivation, and what you WANT to do with it. It is limited, not dead!

Actually an RPi4 (for example) is a much better choice. Yes, you can make that old hardware work, but it will just cost definitely more than a supported SBC. Unfortunately it takes more space, more power, produces more noise and more problems (and still remains more unstable and unreliable). So what is the goal?
Even AMD 8320 is out of fashion already. I get it, I don't like it either (I have old hardware too), but it's still the case.

I like SBCs: A LOT. But:
#1 I also like machines that can run DOS, FreeDOS, and 32-bit operating systems nativly and this one will while an RPi will not.
#2 Have you attempted to find an RPi4 on the market lately? Since Covid they have become as rare as hens teeth.
#3 If I have hardware that will serve, I will only buy more for an EXCELLENT reason, and even then I may use the existing hardware while I wait for the new platform. (An OLD solution that works is 100% better than NO solution!)
