netscape 4.79 & flash lockups

Hi All,

Anyone else having trouble with their Netscape (4.79) locking up when trying to view a page with Flash? I can view Flash sites for a moment then it locks. I have to re-install the Flash libraries to make it work again, but then the cycle repeats. I would switch to Konqueror, but I cannot get that to display Flash at all. Where do I put the Flash libraries for Konqueror.

Thanks,

Jon

Just stop the app playing music, and voila.

Flash panics when it can't access the sound card.

Then you are bitten by famous Flash bug. If you play music it locks /dev/dsp and flash tries to lock that device too. You got two choices :

1- Stop playing music when browsing
2 - Run ESD ( Enlightened Sound Daemon )

Actually Flash Plugin v6 will resolve this crappy problem.
