kdeinit hangs because of user logouts

Hi,
when a user of my linux (mandrake + kde) logouts, his kdeinit hangs and continues working consuming all the CPU.
Why don't kdeinit stop automatically when the user exists his session?
I'm tired to kill every night all the kdeinit processes from all users who have initiated a session during the day.
