Lightbulb Kali not detecting touchpad & keyboard

Hi Guys, so when i dual boot kali it Seems that kali doesn’t detect my keyboard or trackpad. How ever when I use external ones , it does. I have tried updating aswell as reforming my usb. The machine I currently use is an Asus Vivobook S14. With American Megatrends motherboard.. please don’t reply with “don’t install kali if ur new” I have been working with kali for several years now and never had to deal with this problem. I also can’t seem to find the potential drivers I’m missing for the machine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nouveau (IDK Linux; only Google)

1st take a minute to try this wild-Goouess: https://askubuntu.com/questions/1053...053207#1053207

Then this Goo'ed: linux keyboard Asus Vivobook S14
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=216158

Have you tried any distro other than [the four letter LQcussWord]? (Best LQ work around short of going to /r/kali*)

P. S. A week or two later:
OP hasn't logged in since posting. (IDK IF they see the replies without logging in; maybe they found the missing Asus Vivobook S14/15 kernel drivers mentioned below)

See today's https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=216158#c63

Hello Reeves, & welcome to LQ.

You're new here. Have a read of this linux-newbie-8/using-kali-linux-please-read

See Kali as a pen-testing tool, to be used through your wired network card. Kali is not an OS, really - no drivers or firmware. People who do pen-testing pick up or borrow another keyboard if they have issues, they don't post on forums. Delete it unless you're learning loads from the experience.

It is a default setting in XFCE. You have to turn it on.

 XFCE

Enter XFCE Settings.
Select the Mouse and Touchpad settings.
If necessary, select your Touchpad device.
In the General section, enable "Tap touchpad to click"
