about configur zoom router


dear friends
i have 5 pc,s win98 connected to running zoomadsl modem/router via hub
and working

6th one i want to connect in this same hub with redhat 9 installed how could i go through

zoomadsl modem/router is set on auto diduct ip so i have only the address and primery dns secondry dns

default zoomadsl ip 10.0.0.2
subnet 255.255.255.0
prim dns 212.xx.xx.xx
sec dns 212.xx.xx.xx
only this i have
how i configure the linux redhat9 in consol to connect with this with this pc next i want to use as desktop+squid cache that is next first to connect this?

i configure my linux box with following
ip 162.168.1.1
s.net 255.255.255.0

d.gateway 10.0.0.2
did i am on right path
but still not getting traceroute to any www or my isp 212.xx.xx.xx
