Question LFS 7.9: md5sums failed check

I am currently installing all the source files needed to (re)start my LFS build. I used the wget-list (with corresponding script) to download all the files and the md5sums (again, with script) to check them.

I have done this before, on the same machine and host system, and had no errors. However, this time I get five FAILED and three FAILED open or read.

Quote:
FAILED:
check-0.10.0.tar.gz
e2fsprogs-2.1.0.tar.gz
procps-ng-3.3.11.tar.xz
psmisc-22.21.tar.gz
Tcl-core8.6.4-src.tar.gz
Quote:
FAILED open or read:
expat-2.1.0.tar.gz
expect5.45.tar.gz
Flex-2.6.0.tar.xz
I have removed everything and tried again twice but get the same errors each time. What is the best course of action in this case? Is this a bug? Research has shown that in the past, it was a bit of a bug but it appears re-downloading solved the issue, but has not done so for me.

Thank you.

Try running wget manually (without using any script) and see if the ones that say "failed open or read" are being downloaded at all. All the mentioned files are from sourceforge, so I'd check if it's their issues, as they were known to go down for some time due to maintenance or what not.

In the past, if I couldn't download certain packages (due to server being down or similar), I turned here: http://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/lfs/lfs-packages/ which has all of the packages in stable release and server seems to be pretty stable.

I'm usually lazy and don't do the md5sums (probably a bad idea)
