how to configure MPLABX

Hi,
I am trying MPLABX, ( a linux version of MPLAB from www.microchip.com )
I installed the compiler mplabc18 ( C compiler for embedded ).

MPLABX is developped on netbeans,
Everything seems correct, but mplabx doesn't find the c18 compiler , I am sure the problem is in the PATH, I can't find where to declare the path for library and header files?

So my question is : where to configure mplabx to add the path of c18 compiler!!! I looked every where in configuration, but didn't find it !!!

thanks a lot
best regards

Sounds like a total disaster. Java on java on java - so the possibility of directory & class path errors is cubed.

Why not give it the middle finger if they don't support it? There's gpsim, and all the tools native to linux. Somebody had started on a C compiler when I was doing this 10 years back. Should be good to go now.http://gputils.sourceforge.net/
