Partman ...how to use partman ?


Hi !

Is there a site that could guide me through the way to use partman ?

I'm trying to install Ubuntu but i choke when i arrive to disk partitioning and i want to do it well :-)

I'm in dual boot with XP .....can i use Partition Magic ?

Some help Please

Found the problem

Here is the way i took to solve my problem.


First, i used Partition Magic to partition because i found Partman to be hard to learn.

After that my partition was done i've just assigned those partition.

It was a lot easier, i hope that Ubuntu will put something less difficult to operate when it's time to partition.
