Mandrake 9 hang after install
I installed Mandrake 9 without problems.
When it reboots and
verify DMI Pool Data.....
appears, it hangs and after a moment
,,,,,Boot |>,
the | character is a 'spade' symbol from a deck of cards.
Whats wrong? Any ideas?

Your computer is crashing after the BIOS "Verifying DMI Pool" message, correct?
You have a boot loader problem. Which boot loader are you trying to use?
Anything on your computer other than Mandrake?

i have the same problem after i install mandrake 9.2
and i only have mandrake installed
whats is wrong?
my system
abit ka7-100
amd 1900+
seagate 40gig (new)
