THe US government is of little threat to Linux. To get rid of Linux, they would have to tell Oracle, IBM, and a crapton of others to abandon a platform they know, sell, and love. The reason the US dislikes Linux is because Linux takes cash away from proprietary developers. Oh, and remember that a large part of our government runs off of linux, as well as the New York Stock Exchange!
It starts as a narrative with a black screen and goes into the video in a few minutes. It is a long movie (2 hours) but expresses my outlook on life just fine.
Just posting this for bendib and Mr.Code. If they have the time to sit and watch. Otherwise, never mind. Might clear up some misconceptions though on what I posted. Happy Trails, Rok
Another thing that's more on-topic: I'm just curious as to why Gates is on this poll...?
I mean, I know most people associate him w/ Microsoft, but he isn't the CEO anymore, and I don't think what he does now has very much to do with MS directly, does it? Unless he's still a threat to FOSS in some other way...
Maybe I'm just hopelessly confused

Well, I had consulted RuPaul and Poppin' Fresh about adding another colorful character to the poll. My first choice was Scooby Doo.
Scooby's reply was,
Quote:
Rhat rakes rou rhink ri rill rork ror rothing, ruh?
Rut ry rame rin ra roll? Ror rhat? Ravorite ropen rource renemy? Ro ray!!
Rust reave re ralone!
Bill gates was easier.

"Mr.Gates?"
"Yes. Who is it?"
"Mr.Bisquit."
"Ahh, yes. What do you want, Mr.Bisquit?"
"I'm making a poll about Open Source enemies and want to know if you want to be included."
"Hmm, let me think about it."
"I'll throw in some oatmeal cookies."
"Chewy?"
"If you want."
"Okay. I'll do it for a bag of oatmeal cookies. Chewy, ok? And some Ovaltine."
"Will do."
