*whew* just finished running away from Just Linux. I like this place. Looks good (oddly familiar ) So i'm going to be residing here from now on.
I just htought that some of the people like me coming from JL would like to introduce themselves to their new home. I think the regulars here would also like to read them. I will start off.
I'm a 14 year old freshamn in highschool that is generally frustrated with the populace of my hometown. Im not big on commercialism, and usually talk to much about it at school. Some people dont like me for that. This is why I went the way of the Linux. With the installation of my new OS came new opportunities, a better way to do things, everything is open for me. I do what I want, with nothing restraining me.
I like to ask and answer questions about Linux(I had about 150 posts in JL) but I also enjoy taking part in off topic conversations (Why I left JL)
I'm heavily looking forward to meeting all of you, and may only good times follow.
Fingel, please join the other thread, let's keep it to a minimum. Moderator, can you lock this one/ or delete it with the original posters agreement? I haven't noticed whether the creator can delete his own threads or not.

No need to delete. We got a strict policy of not deleting posts or threads here unless under extreme conditions. Quite frankly were happy to say I think out of the 2 and a 1/2 years I think only one person had to be inactivated (in which they are welcomed back if they promise not to do what they did but have yet to get a response from them) and only one deletion of a members thread I do believe cause it got out of hand.
Oh and members can't delete their own posts, only edit unless its a closed thread.
Might as well use this as a landing pad for introductions and a refresher for those who may have nicks from their old home that are already used up here.
Originally posted by Fingel go ahead and delete away. I thought people could post introductions. Sorry, looks like I'm off to a bad start...eek.
No, it's not that, there was already an introduction thread, and one makeshift one that started spontaneously inside the refugee thread. No rough start at all brother, you are always a welcome sight.
