Is anyone here using linux for audio production?

I haven't done it for a long time. I run windows in the studio, and all I needed to do at home was possible with linux, but now I need composition tools, and basic recording capability, but Its really getting frustrating.

If I could switch to linux in the studio some day that would be great too. At the moment it wouldn't really pay. All I have and need is reaper and some plugins, and for that purpose windows works just fine.

I'm just curious if there are people here who use linux for home recording or composing and what applications you use primarily. Also on which distribution... If you are using specialized distros like 64studio, I'd be interested how well they work for you for everyday tasks, or if you are dual-booting with another distro for that.
