I am back!!! Yeah, I went to mount buller to ski, rented a car, drove down the Great Ocean Road, spend a night there and of course visited the 12 apostles, great farm land, nice country fresh air. must be good to go for surfing during the summer along the great ocean beach. Visited the Crown CASINO most of the night as my friend requested, he is a slack gambler. I went shopping on the last day for some Australian produce products and souveniers, bought 2 bottles of red wine. We drank almost every night, I recommend the local merlot or shiraz.
visited the Royal Mel Zoo on the first day, kangaroo, koala bear and wombat are the must seen animal....1st night, went to the city's top discoteque: SALT , ordered 2 bottles of chivas. I was approached by a chick, she and her friend drag me for a dance, sadly I rejected them, as I really don't know how to dance. they laughted at me. It's ok, anyway I am used to it, i really don;t like dancing. That's about it...I really covered alot of the nice places during my stay there.
Hi Stephanie,
I wish I could have bring you along with me heh, I didn't plan to go for this trip in the fist place. I made the decision 2 days before my departure, this is crazy....i know, I didn't have much time to pack my backpack, I didn't even have a winter jacket(it's now winter in australia), I just brought a normal jacket with me...everything is on the last minute and was very rush like the rush hour
So let me get this straight. You shot down a girl when she asked you on the dance floor because you dont know how to dance!? this is wrong in so many ways.
Girls almost never ask guys on the floor, so she must have liked you, (wink, wink). And you are womanless right now, am I right? Plus, while guys generally do not like dancing, they can be pulled on the floor if they have had some alcohol in their system. but to turn a girl down over that.... dang you must be really scared of looking silly.
And ironically enough, most guys do look silly... but that is part of why we like you on the floor. It makes us laugh. Girls are really the only ones that look good dancing anyway, in my opinion.
Your only excuse that can save you right now is to say she was not attractive.
Nope, she was gorgeous with good vital-statistic figure....okie...i must admit that I am shy, had some alcohol effect in my head but still sober and still know that i don't like to dance.
I am not sure why you guys get so shy and nervous around us. We are girls / women, not an alien. We dont bite.... unless you want us to Anyways..............................................................
You have nothing to lose by asking or anything, so you should next time just go on out there. You are in a whole other country.. a different culture. Have fun, and be different! It is your chance to explore a whole different side of yourself.
To relate this to Linux for this forum:
It is like when you first got Linux. You played and explored and configured and mucked things up. But you had fun, right! If you would have been shy and nervous about command lines or the options you have, you would not be that much smarter than an average Windoze user.
Come on.. I suck at dancing, but any girl willing to make me look like a fool and ask me to dance, I always accept and have never turned down one yet ( Even though it rarely happens to me that a girl even asks me to dance )
Unless the only reason is if they look like they are going to eat me or something or just look too hideous..
