Can't believe this post is still working... should be the largest one... I think someone mentioned it before here.... and someone else pointed an even larger post... how is that now?

Great Idea this post... it's kaiwe (a local expression, don't expect anyone to understand it). It's like seti@home, or the uptime project or stuff... :-)

I am a a SETI member myself with 3,359 hours of total computer time, then again that is only hours spent with Windows running... I don't have SETI in linux yet, do they even have SETI@Home for Linux?

Actually, they do. In fact lq.org has a website about seti. I don't remember it now, and my conection speed is crappy, but I'll send a link as soon as i can.
