With RPMFusion Packaging of Nvidia Drivers - do I need to do anything on GPU upgrade?

I don't remember if it was an old packaging on Fedora or if it was one of the Debian-based systems, but I thought I remembered the Nvidia packages being broken out into Nvidia generations. Say cards 1-5 this driver. Cards 6-10 this drive. Last 2 years of cards this driver.

In the next couple months I was thinking of upgrading the GPU in my gaming machine and taking the old gaming one and putting it in my main Linux computer. (Then taking that one and putting it in a computer that only has MOBO GPU) All Nvidia (no AMD). Anything I need to do or worry about?

Thanks!

Decision was apparently made for me when nVidia moved both of my graphics cards (current one and the one I want to put in there) to legacy 340 driver. So trying to get that working.
