Please note that all posts at LQ should be in English. This ensures the mod team can verify the content complies with the rules (and in the case of commands, that nothing nefarious is being done). Thanks.
Cool little distro you have there geodoo. Do you think the future release will have a gcc higher than the 4.5.3.
there is many benefits for new cpu's in the 4.6 and up.
Glad you made it here . I like to say that is a very easy to understand GNU Linux system.
Thank you

With rsync's server problem finally solved I give you the packages for upgrading to Dragora 3... Look at gcc!!
Okay everyone, I am officially onboard with Dragora as of this week. I just thought I would throw out a suggestion: Given the improvements between 2.2 and -Current, it might be useful to have a Dragora-Current install iso updated every so often, as well as instructions for new users on how to run -Current. I actually got the idea from Slackware-Current, just thought I'd put this out there as a request. Also, let me go ahead and throw out one vote for LXQt as a desktop; I'm going to try and make my own packages for it later, just running XFCE at the moment. I think having a lightweight Qt option for a desktop would attract a lot of users (I mostly use Qt applications, so that's my reason for wanting it), but not a big deal either way.

Can you guide as to how to install Dragora 3.0? I thought that it is still not usable, and I am waiting for an ISO of Dragora 3.0 to be released.
Presently using slackware 14.1 64bit, still I do not understand how to install dragora 3.0

Well, I am still playing with it, so I can't say for sure that it's stable enough for regular use. I actually have 2.2 installed alongside -Current just in case I break it. If I have time I might write up a guide later, but for reference I used the Linux From Scratch Install Guide http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/...roduction.html and this guide on configuring Runit - http://smarden.org/runit/
on paper, i've been a massive fan of dragora ever since i learned of it, shortly after it started existing,
i think i gave it one or two curiosity installs way back.
rather looking forward to getting a longer lasting implementation installed, and made use of. likely just as a client in bedrock, but what a nice home for it.
dragora is great distro for learning your system on. ... n i can say that with confidence, even though i've not spent any noteworthy time living with it yet.
